Einführung
in die
Übersetzung Englisch-Deutsch
|
|

Content |
|
This
is one of the two courses that could originally be taken in order to obtain the
obligatory Oberstufenschein in English-German translation
required for admittance to the state examination (§48 and §68 LPO).
The Einführung can be considered the more basic of the two
courses, as we will devote a considerable amount of time to translation
strategies regarding typical areas of difficulty, such as the question of
how literal a translation should be, or how to translate particular
English constructions. These strategies will be introduced by the
participants in the form of presentations.
In addition, we will discuss your translation homework in class, and
you will get feedback on your individual performance.

Please check my English

obligatory and that you are of course free to use any material that you
